There's a mission in Annesburg centered around a son and his mother that Arthur tries to solve, but ends up coming out of it as a perceived bad guy. In a way, this helped show Arthur that no matter how kind you present yourself, others will perceive you however they cho

There are a lot of reasons why players should join up with a posse as soon as possible, but the biggest reason is that it makes players less of a target. While roaming the game world, players are likely to run into all kinds of dangerous enemies from wild animals to evil factions of players. These enemies are much less likely to mess with a group of players than a single loan cowboy riding by himself. Posses give players a chance to explore the world with a group of people that will have their back and ensure no one messed with them. This also goes both ways though. If players want to be a mean group of outlaws, it is a lot more intimidating to have a group of people at your back. No one is going to take a bandit seriously unless he has some kind of bac

Players who want something a little more permanent should select the persistent posse. This will allow them to have up to seven members, let them name their posse anything they wish and will be able to compete against other posses in different AAA game music modes. After forming a posse players will need to pay $1 to set up a camp, but the camp will be set up wherever the player is standing when they form it. Players should make sure they are in an ideal location before trying to set up their po

A little way northeast of Cotorra Springs is the legendary wolf's territory. Although not part of any particular mission, this wolf is likely to be found as Arthur goes about traveling through its territory on several occasions for other quests and story missions. Keeping Arthur's distance and shooting for the heart will make the wolf go down easy.

Updated November 7, 2024, by Hamza Haq: Most games, open-world or otherwise, put very little emphasis on getting the side quest portion of the story right. Developers often focus all of their efforts on fleshing out the main story, the exploration, the progression system, and other factors. Side quests are mostly at the very bottom of the priority list for developers when, in reality, they are what gamers spend the most time doing, especially in open-world games where player freedom is at the core of the gameplay loop. The games that do get it right allow the player to remain immersed in the world setting, living and breathing the fiction as if they were a part of it. Open-world games with great side quests don't automatically become classics, but the ones that do always have a great questing experie

If players fancy collecting the Pokemon Cards' of the Old West, then 'Smoking and Other Hobbies' is something to consider. In this mission, players are required to collect up to 12 Cigarette Card Sets, and each set contains 12 cards. That means, 144 unique cards have to be obtained, ranging from the Prominent Americans Card Set to the Horses Cards

In the furthest western corner of Lemoyne near the Old Greenbank Mill, Arthur can find the legendary coyote. This creature is one of the harder ones to come across naturally and will truly take a hunter's gaze to find. Tracking throughout the hills in this area tends to find the coyote the quickest. Be careful to stalk and not race after the tracks as the coyote is speedy and will take off at the slightest idea that it is being hunted. Though fast and stealthy, this coyote can be taken down with one good shot.

These have to do with liberating the area from the rule of the antagonists. Due to this style, there’s a certain sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering environments. The gameplay itself comes across as distinct here, as the focus isn’t solely on shooting mechanics. Instead, RPG elements give way for a mixture of exploration and com

Once there, players will probably want to do a little bit of digging into each group before joining up. The problem with joining a group of strangers is that you never know exactly how they will behave in-game. The game doesn't provide a lot of information about players, but it does at least show what their alignment is in the game. If players want to be a good person in the world of Red Dead Online, they probably don't want to join a posse full of Dishonorable memb

The reason why this first part’s side missions are more fun than the sequel’s is due to the challenge involved. These quests don’t care about your skill level and are equally difficult whether you’ve started your playthrough or ended the campa

Just south of Mattock Pond players can find the legendary fox. Much like the coyote, the fox requires a stealthy approach as it is quickly and easily spooked. Quick and clean shots while sneaking through the bushes will give Arthur the best opportunity to down this majestic creature.
