Black Myth: Wukong uses a Stance system, allowing the Destined One to adjust his combat strategy based on the situation. As you progress through the game, you'll gain access to three stances, each providing new heavy attacks and variable combos. By making good use of each stance you can pull off some truly incredible attack combos against even the most dangerous foes the game has to offer.

Thrust Stance is an excellent and highly mobile style that works well when facing an enemy with dangerous close-range attacks, like AOE blasts, allowing you to quickly approach and retreat as the situation demands. This makes it a tricky style to learn but very rewarding to master, especially against bosses who transition to a second or third phase by using an AOE attack.

Your armor loadout doesn't stop at your the threads your curated Destined One is wearing. You will also have two slots to equip Curios. Pick your objects wisely. Keep in mind these objects can compliment armor or other equipped items. Often, specific effects used across multiple items are stackable in Black Myth Wukong boss guide Myth: Wukong enabling rich customization options when it comes to gameplay.

Kang-Jin Loong is the second mandatory boss in chapter three, residing in the Snowy Path of Mirrormere, who might teach you a lesson on organizing your inventory before rushing into a fight with them. Combine numerous techniques from the previous chapters, and you can effortlessly beat them.

"Take the form of Gore-Eye Daoist, who wields a staff topped with a toad whose eyes emit a crimson glow. Stay within the glow and your attack will be enhanced. The staff vanishes on its own after a while."

Keeping with the theme of darting in and out of melee range, Thrust Stance's variable combo (once unlocked) performs a backstep when you use a heavy attack during a light attack combo, carrying you back a short distance. If you tap heavy attack again and have at least one focus point, you can follow this with a ranged jab similar to the stance's heavy attack which can be followed up with Whirling Thrusts if desired. With the right upgrades, you can also transition Whirling Thrusts into the Tactical Retreat backstep to disengage.

Like Curios, Relics also offer ongoing passive benefits. In your first playthrough, there are a total of 5 relics. You will receive one after you complete each of the first 5 chapters. They each come with 3 perks and you must select one.

"Take the form of Fungiwoman. Drift through the air with a mushroom cap and release spores. Upon landing, crash into the foe as the spores rain down to track and strike them. Spores that hit the foe can return and recover Health."

Patience is a must-have before engaging Kang-Jin Loong in the fight since the dragon's nimble movements allow them to move past your attacks swiftly. Kang-Jin Loong excessively delivers the Shock and Chill elementals , so ensure these right items, summons, and armor:

There are several spirits available in Black Myth: Wukong. They won't always be along the critical path.
